USA Track & Field (USATF) is the national governing body of track & field. Before any athlete can compete in a USATF-sanctioned meet, he/she must first become a member of USATF. This fee is included in your registration fee. Any athlete wishing to join the Carolina Elite must register with the USATF. Once the youth athlete is a registered USATF member he/she will receive an official USATF membership card (usually called a “USATF card” or sometimes, by long-time summer track veternas, a “TAC card”) in hand before the first meet. Our Administrators will register your child with USATF to simplify the process.
