CEFLY 2013 MISSION
The Carolina Elite Track & Field club is a 501c volunteer organization that provides the opportunity for youth track athletes of all ages (6 thru 18) and skill levels to train and compete in the sport of track and field. Carolina Elite welcomes sponsors and encourages continued and future support for this volunteer organization.
Central to the Carolina Elite mission is the development of the “whole” child. Using track and field as a conduit, we strive to build leaders who not only excel in their sport but, more importantly, within their classroom and as contributing members of their community. Our goal is to promote the sport of track and field while focusing on teaming, overall character, attitude and strengthening individuals both physically and spiritually. With the 2013 CEFLY Carolina Elite Speed Meet, our youth will have the opportunity to use their sport to give back to their community, “running with a purpose”.

Established in 1980, the Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for 30 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through warehouses in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines) and Wilmington.
